Religious Stupor
by Caveat ina relative of mine, a devout witness, is a very righteous person who drives carefully, lives a decent life in all respects.
telling a lie is completely off limits.
to my complete amazement they told her that is not the case.

BAD DRIVERS?
Try uninsured drivers!
I carry full insurance on my cars. Or at least I thought I did.
So in the bank parking lot last month on my way to the drive up..the lady in front of me decides she didn't want to go to drive up.So she starts to back up full speed and rams into the front of my car!
After seeing her with no Dr license but a NON-drivers license that in my best interest I would call the police.
Well she said she was driving on a ticket. Told the police she was with State Farm..you guessed it. I got home and called them and they never heard of her!
So I figure Hey..I have uninsured motorist..I'll just have to go through my insurance (And raised premiums)with American Family..a good company.
So I call and guess what..I only have MEDICAL on uninsured motorists. What idiot wrote that up? Especially when I told them I wanted full coverage? What jerks. My hands are tied. My only recourse is to take her to small claims court and report her to the State license Bureau for not having insurance. And of course the other car I have is FULLY covered. Why couldn't I have been driving that one?
I never heard of uninsured motorists being medical only so I looked at my policy. That's what it said. Be sure to check you policies..don't get caught with your pants down like I did.I am just thankful more damage wasn't done.
ps..She was ticketed for driving without her license but then she waited for the police to leave and drove away...

Watching my daughter's newly adopted pet . A Leonburger that was rescued from a puppy mill(He is two years old). The first day he pooped 2 times on the carpeting. Last night he threw up twice . The worst part is by the time I got the materials to clean it up he ate it!..GAG GAG... I kept thinking about it all night and gagging. I still gag thinking about it! It's not like I am cruel or anything..I take him out(for a long time) but he holds it till the minute he gets in the house and lets it go!..With me saying really really bad words to him! Then he decides it's fun to chew on furniture...so I give him a bone. That actually worked..till he decided to chew on the sheet hanging to the floor. Then he chewed on the weights in the corner..then the air conditioner vent on the floor.. He is just so stupid! I will be so glad to go home tonight and sleep in peace. Then the cat decides he is lonely with the teen girl(my grand daughter) he is used to sleeping with gone and howls every half hour..(Scream). So I guess I have had about two hours sleep tops. My daughter just called and they are in Kansas on their way home (Missouri)with their new Hummer limo. I told her to "Click her heels" to get home faster.............She laughed..I was serious! Snoozy, the dog watcher.........

Yeah right!
Back in the eighties at our congregation we had a teenage black and white couple. They were still teens and they were shunned for dating.
I asked why they were treated that way.
I was told we were not supposed to do anything to bring reproach upon Jehovah's name or his organization. Since society frowned upon such a union it may keep someone from coming "Into the truth"!
I never could accept that..it was wrong.
Course it didn't help when she got pregnant and they had to get married (which didn't last long).
The witnesses just said "See, told you so". They classed them as rebellious teens.
(I figured that didn't have anything to do with the racial issue). They were using typical Witness reasoning I guess.
Anyway they told my kids they shouldn't associate with them in public or at school..just at the hall. That makes a lot of sense doesn't it? NOT!
Maybe the school should have sued them for being prejudiced...lol
Snoozy...who believes the witnesses do pick and choose FOR THEIR OWN BENEFIT who they will help in time of catastrophe... -

Do you think that Armaggeddon is "near" or many, many years away?
by booker-t ini am 40 years old and i have been hearing the same old song by jw's "armaggeddon is around the corner" since i was a toddler.
it has to come to their minds that how long are they going to keep saying that armaggeddon is "near" or "around the corner"?
or they eventually going to quit believing in this fantasy and look at reality?

Danny you can still get gas..you'll just "Blow" you bag.lol..
My Jw sil has one and she has to stir her soda to keep that from happening.
I am one of those that have no medical!!
I and hubby had very good medical when we were working. Then my bank got bought out and they took retirement medical away from our bank as we were bought out by another bank and their retirees got to keep their retirement insurance. That sucked. I found out after I had retired.
Welcome to retirement. They did let me keep cobra for 2 years I think it was. It was almost $600. a month.
Now hubby is gone and so is his retirement insurance! Tell me I didn't get screwed!
I have 1 and a half years till I get medicare..for all that's worth. Meantime I have to pay out of pocket for medical and medicine.
My brothers bill was over $100,000. when he went in to a LA hospital. He had no insurance and couldn't pay. They sent him a bill for probably a year..now they don't even bother. They figure what's the use?
I would encourage all working people to get their OWN health insurance instead of going through their work. Switch jobs or get laid off you are up the creek. If you get your own when you are younger it will stay more affordable when you are older.Or make sure if your company is bought out or merged that you will still be covered.Don't be shocked like I was when it was too late to get affordable health insurance. -

My JW MIL had a hip replacement last year...no blood. She did just fine. No big deal..really. (She is 84 and has hollow bones.) Course if he is a bleeder..they can use that machine that recirculates your blood. I can't even remember what it is called. I had to study all that stuff when hubby was Ill. Now I can't remember any of it. But they have all that in the bloodless hospitals. Snoozy..
